CLIENT-CENTERED THERAPY

Client-centered therapy is an ambiguous term. It is used for any form of conversational orientated psychotherapy as well as the "client-centered therapy after Rogers".

CONFRONTATIONAL THERAPY

Confrontational therapy describes a defined psychotherapeutical intervention. Confrontational proceedures are psychotherapeutical methods and often part of psychotherapeutical treatments dealing with fear- and compulsion disorders. In behavioural therpeutical literature the term confrontation measure is used synonymously with the term exposition measure.
Confrontation within behavioural therapy has proven to be a very efficient method to deal with fear disorders in highly acclaimed surveys throughout professional psychotherapy.

THE EXPOSITION MEASURE AFTER VERBIER

The Exposition Measure after Verbier builds upon the classical therapeutical confrontational method - it is in that means an exposition measure. The key enhancement of the Exposition Measure after Verbier is found in it's extension towards the Internet WWW.
Hereby the patient is confronted with his proper neuroses. This exposition is documented on the therapist's HD videocamera and directly published on videochannels in the Internet WWW.
With this means the patient's neurosis (not the patient himself!) becomes a media-"star" and leaves the patient through Web-Channels like youtube or facebook or myspace or twitter or foursquare or tumblr or google or yahoo or any other website with social media content.
Following the fact that human beings these days are clearly very comfortable with turning their inside out on the web (which is a phenomenon I cannot fully understand until this very day), the neurosis waters down in the vast of the Internet WWW.
It evaporates. It deflagrates. And finally it dissolves in the proportion 1 : Lake Michigan. The patient leaves the measure cured of the treated neurosis and can become a happy person again.
The Exposition Measure after Verbier was invented in 2011 and named after it's originator Dr. Hanno Verbier.
